Panagiotis Emmanouil Kartsidis holds a BSc in Mathematics and a MSc in Medical Computer Science. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in neuroscience at the School of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). Following his MSc, he joined the Neuroscience of Affection and Cognition group (NCA) based at the Lab of Medical Physics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) as a research associate. He worked at the BRAINWAVE research project, implementing BCI technology for people with spinal cord injury. He has also worked in EC funded research projects since 2013, most notably SmokeFreeBrain Project, the ongoing H2020 LifeChamps and Vitalise Projects. His research interests and experience are in the fields of statistics, EEG, biomedical engineering and signal processing. He is the DPO of Captain coach, a spin-off of AUTH and is the ethics and security manager of the Lab of Medical Physics (AUTH) as well as for the projects in which the lab is involved.
