Nikos Terzopoulos is a graduate of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. During his studies he defended his thesis about real-time source space estimation in EEG. He is a member of the Biomedical Electronics Robotics and Devices research group of the Medical Physics Laboratory of the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has worked on the research programs “CSI: BRAINWAVE”, in the neurophysiological analysis in patients with cervical spinal cord injury, and on the “SmokeFreeBrain”, in the neurofeedback intervention. He is currently working on “NeuroSuitUp”, a Human-Machine Interface project aimed in promoting neuroplasticity in spinal cord injury. He has also worked on web development enterprises. He specializes in implementing and automating scientific programming pipelines. His interests are Machine Learning, real-time applications, Brain Computer Interfaces, Artificial Intelligence, robotics, programming and algorithms, and mathematics.
