The aim of CEPEH strategic partnership is to co-design and implement new pedagogical approaches and, in particular, chatbots for European Medical and Nursing schools. CEPEH employs participatory design to engage stakeholders (students, healthcare workforce staff, lecturers, clinicians, etc.) in order to co-design effective chatbots and release them as open access resources. Through CEPEH, effective use of digital technologies and open education are incorporated into healthcare curricula, enabling students to increase their health and medical related skills through flexible learning.

ERMAT is launched with the main objective of increasing the competences (attitudes, knowledge,
skills) of Elder Persons with Reduced mobility, Informal Caregivers and Professionals on the
application of Assistive Technologies for improving their Quality of Life.
Specific objectives:
- To promote sense of self-care and care supported by ATs
- To inform about available ATs and their application to the specific needs of EPRM

AD-ARTS is launched with the main objective of increasing the competences (attitudes, knowledge, skills) of PwAD (Mild and Moderate), Relatives and Professionals on the implementation of Creative Arts Therapies (CATs), supported by Digital Tools (DTs) for improving Quality of Life.
Digital CATs are a relative newcomer to CATs methods and materials that can be defined as “all forms of technology-based media that are used by arts therapists to assist clients in creating art as part of the process of therapy”.

The discipline of anatomy is becoming increasingly complex due to the greater understanding and development of novel surgical approaches. Due to its very nature, this area does not lend itself to the traditional approaches of teaching and learning. With the emergence of cutting-edge digital media, such as Augmented, Virtual, and Mixed Reality (AR/VR/MR), and the reduction in 3D printing costs, learners can see and touch detailed models and structures that are rare to patients in clinical practice, or impossible to discern on cadavers.

Simulation based training is identified as a valid teaching/learning strategy. Yet, little evidence exists for the design and use of virtual reality reusable e-resources, especially in healthcare education. To this extent, there is no development framework for the co-creation for virtual reality reusable e-resources utilising stakeholder participation. 
 

The WHO defines the concept of Active Ageing as “the process of optimizing opportunities for health, participation and safety, in order to improve well-being and quality of life as people get older”. It necessary keeps activity to conserve vitality, to feel useful, to participate in social life. Active as a person, active as a citizen and active with a group of elderly people with Down Syndrome.

An Active Ageing model for PDS should take into account the next differentiated aspects, among others:
