PROLONG is a project that designs and manufactures a portable device that can be worn or carried by the user and will be able to perform gait analysis, detect conditions of possible danger and generate an alert. The design, test and validation are done by constant involvement of final users that interact with PROLONG prototypes in various stages of the development and provide feedback. Over the past 2 years, the EU-funded project SISCODE has been exploring the application of co-creation methodologies in policy design to bridge the gap between science, society and innovation. The project has two differentiated lines of research. On the one hand, through a pan-European wide study, cocreation ecosystems have been compared and contrasted to gain a better understanding of the dynamics within them and the outcomes they generate. On the other hand, 10 co-creation labs, are studying co-creation in real-life contexts.

On 14 July, Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI), European Network of Living Labs  (ENoLL), TU Dortmund University (TUDO), Science Gallery Dublin (SDG) and Thess-AHALL (AUTH partner) hosted the second two-hour online workshop of the CoRRI Network - First Cycle of Workshops.
